Mike joined Facebook in 2018, after a 13 year career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he investigated counterintelligence and cyber threats and led teams focused on nation-state adversary aries and foreign influence operations. At Facebook, Mike leads a team that focuses on protecting people on the platform by tracking and disrupting advanced persistent threat actors globally. Mike holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University, an MS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MS degree in Cybersecurity from New York University. Mike was born in the former Soviet Union and speaks native Russian.
