Lee was formerly Director of Information Operations Analysis at Mandiant, where he founded and led its threat intelligence team dedicated to identifying and tracking cyber-enabled influence operations and disinformation campaigns. Over his career, Lee has briefed numerous government and corporate entities on disinformation threats around the world, and is a regular contributor to media reporting on the subject. He also teaches on information operations analysis at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, as a faculty member of the Alperovitch Institute for Cybersecurity Studies. He maintains a particular passion for advancing analytic tradecraft and integrating state-of-the-art data analytics approaches with traditional intelligence investigations and analysis. He holds an MA in Intelligence and International Security, an MA in Political Science, and an MS in Analytics with a focus on computational data analytics.
