Kyle O'Meara brings over 18 years of expertise in information technology and cyber security, with a strong focus on threat hunting and adversary tracking in diverse industries. He currently is the Technical Team Lead - Adversary Hunters at Dragos. Before this role, Kyle was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute's CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC), where he spearheaded threat intelligence engagements for government agencies. His previous positions include work at FireEye, where he contributed to the SharkSeer program at the NSA, Stroz Friedberg in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), and multiple critical roles at the NSA, including a six-month deployment in Iraq. Kyle has also held adjunct faculty positions at Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne University, where he designed and taught courses on threat analysis and network analysis for both graduate and undergraduate students. His work has been widely recognized through publications and presentations at major cyber security conferences such as DEF CON, ShmooCon, BlackHat Arsenal, and the FIRST Technical Colloquium.
