Jon’s work at CEIP focuses on large-scale policy challenges surrounding emerging tech, global cyber and influence operations, and systemic cyber risk. Before joining Carnegie, Jon was special assistant to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, served as director for cyber strategy implementation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and was a senior intelligence analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency. He holds a JD from Harvard and a BA from Johns Hopkins.
