Emiel Haeghebaert

Emiel Haeghebaert is a Senior Hunt Analyst with Microsoft Threat Intelligence and tracks Iranian state-sponsored cyber threats targeting Microsoft customers and consumers. Additionally, Emiel supports Microsoft Incident Response engagements by providing hunting and intelligence support for incidents related to both financially motivated and state-sponsored threat actors. Prior to Microsoft, Emiel was a Threat Intelligence Analyst with Mandiant’s Cyber Espionage Analysis team. Emiel has an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a BA in International Affairs from Vesalius College.
