Dina Sadek is a Resident Fellow with the Atlantic Council’s DFRLab, leading the research portfolio for foreign malign influence around the 2024 US elections and disinformation in the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to joining the DFRLab, Dina worked on designing and implementing international development programs focusing on media and civil society capacity building and safeguarding human rights and freedom of expression. Dina holds a master’s degree in global security and strategy from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Her master’s research focused on the contributing factors to disinformation and extreme speech in long-term conflicts with case studies on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and the Myanmar internal conflict.
