Andrew Arens is a highly accomplished professional with a decade of national security experience, working extensively on Cyber & CI issues. He currently serves as a Senior Analyst on TikTok USDS' Influence Operation Intelligence & Discovery (IOID) team and has been a driving force in containing Russian malign influence on the platform.

Before joining TikTok USDS in 2022, Andrew had served in the US government, where he worked to counter Russian APT actors and influence operations. Before joining the US government, he studied at Columbia University where he gained fluency in Russian and researched Russian security issues and Russia's then-fledging cyber capability.
